I have to agree that you question is a bit broad. You need to specify a few things before anyonme can answer that properly (not necessarily in this order):
1. Location - this is an international forum. Do you want to fly someone in from Germany just because she is the best plasterer anyone can find?
2. Timing - if you need someone this week, that might eliminate many plasterers, especially if the people who could recommend them, wouldn't want their plasterer to drop tools and run off to another (i.e. YOUR) job!
3. Skills - if you need a couple of small rooms done for a refurbishment project, then you might not want / need the same plasterer who fixed Windsor Castle. For one thing, they might feel claustrophobic in our typical Buy to lets.
4. Do you need the job done cheap, or are you willing to pay more for better work?
5. Repeat business - if you want a one-off job, then you might get more names than if you wanted to find a plasterer for a long-term working relationship. People won't give recommendations if it might hurt their own trustworthiness with that tradesman, by passing their names on to hit-and-run clients.
There are probably other dimensions to this puzzle, but I hope you can see from these five, why it was hard for anyone to answer you in detail.

I am located in South London and would like a quote on plastering 5 rooms. I'm not in a hurry but would like the work started in the next 2-3weeks if possible. I'm also looking for a fitter to install a kitchen.
