Blog: Anyone know a lender who will re-mortgage my whole portfolio, which includes ex-LA properties?
Blog Reply: I would imagine many buy to let mortgage lenders would refinance the whole porfolio but i think it may be better for you to spread your properties across different lender to achieve the best rates also if you p**s one lender off or they change their criteria you'll always have some back up lenders with a relationship you can go to.
Blog Reply: never put all your eggs in one basket!
Blog Reply: many lenders have lending limits anyway, eg one lender will lend upto £5m whilst another may only lend upto £1m to any one person. Therefore, if you have a large portfolio, you have no choice but to spread it about a bit.
Blog Reply: I am sure the average the buy to let mortgage lender will buy to let finance upto £5M.
